but with a few coupons i got 10.2 gallons for 19.94 today.

No idea why it takes so long to change state-wide. There's stations in Milwaukee at $1.89, yet if you drive 30 minutes north, they're still at $2.09. Or higher.

Enjoy it while it lasts. I'm about to put my car on the road for the first time soon. With my luck being what it is, It should jump to $10/gal shortly after that.

It could also be certain stations taking advantage of the affluence of the area. I know that where I live gas is $0.20-0.30 more than where my girlfriend lives. And when you go out to a "richy rich" area by a friend of mine, gas is almost $0.50 more than by me.

The average income between where my girlfriend lives and where my friend lives are almost polar opposites.

Oh yeah? 1.72 a gallon here in Wichita! I saw diesel at a station the other day for 2.49 a gallon... but I didn't stop :'(

Hah, on vacation in New Mexico Santa Fe it was $1.74...now back here in CA it's ~$3.50 :P
